What is actually stored
This site uses no tracking cookies of its own and has no analytics. The only thing recorded is your decision about advertising, kept in your browser's local storage on your own device:
- Version — so that if this policy changes materially you are asked again rather than kept on an old answer.
- Your choice — whether advertising is allowed.
- The time you made it — so the record is auditable.
That record never leaves your browser. We cannot see it, which also means we cannot look it up for you or correct it — clearing your browser data removes it, and you will simply be asked again.
What advertising uses
If you allow advertising, Google AdSense loads and Google and its partners may set cookies or similar technologies to serve ads and measure how they perform. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, which applies across all sites that use Google ads, not just this one.
If you decline, no advertising code is loaded at all. Nothing is requested from Google, so no advertising cookies are set. The tools behave identically — they are all computed in your browser and never contact a server — there is simply no revenue from that visit.
The tools themselves
Every tool on this site runs locally. A coin flip, a dice roll, a wheel spin and a card draw are all generated on your device by your browser's cryptographic random number generator. None of these tools reads a cookie, sets one, or sends anything anywhere.
Two tools keep data in your browser for convenience: a wheel's option list, so it survives a page reload, and a deck of cards rebuilt fresh on every draw. Both are local to your browser. Neither is transmitted. You can remove the wheel list at any time by clearing site data in your browser.
Fonts
Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser contacts Google to fetch them. This happens on every page and is not affected by your advertising choice, since the alternative would be to self-host the font files and give up most of the benefit.
